NYC LIQUID EYELINER

"I love the confidence that makeup gives me. " quote by Tyra Banks. :D

Hey everyone, today's review is on the NYC liquid eyeliner.

I purchased mines from a local online store here in Trinidad called Bella Russe for $35TT. I must say I love shopping there because I always receive great service and quality products at the best prices. All my local gals you should definitely check them out!

I recently discovered this eyeliner and I love it already!

It comes in a black tube with a brush applicator.

(Images are taken from Google Images.)

PROS:
-Very pigmented
-Dries to a black matte finish
-Very long lasting
-Easy to draw over

The only problem I had with this was at first I found it tricky to draw my winged liner with it because I wasn't accustomed with the thicker brush applicator but practice definitely makes perfect and now I have no problem at all.

This eyeliner is THE BOMB! it is seriously long lasting.
I absolutely love this and would definitely recommend everyone get their hands on it.

Hope you dolls enjoyed my review, feel free to let me know your thoughts on it! :)

HIMALAYA ENERGIZING DAY CREAM

Hey dolls! Today I'm reviewing the Himalaya Energizing Day Cream.

I bought it at pennywise for $45TT.
It comes in a glass jar with 50 grams of product.
Skin type: combination to oily

First of all I must say I absolutely love this moisturizer!! This moisturizer has no SPF. I bought this for the purpose of moisturizing before applying makeup because most of my foundations have SPF.

You don't want to be layering SPF ON SPF thinking you are getting more protection, when you actually are not. The only thing it is doing is causing your face to have that 'white overlay' in flash photography. You definitely don't want this so you either wear SPF moisturizer and pair it with foundation that has no SPF and vice versa.

Most of my foundations has SPF so I bought this and it's absolutely amazing!
It has a thick consistency and a LITTLE goes a long way.
It has a decent scent, it really doesn't bother me.
It absorbs into the skin and does not leaves the skin looking and feeling greasy.

If you use a lot you will be greasy so that's why i said a little goes a long way because it absorbs into your skin and leave it feeling great.

It works really great, i absolutely love it and continue to use it all the time.
I definitely will repurchase this moisturizer again and i recommend you guys try it out.

If any of you tried it leave a comment below and let me know how it worked for you! :)

FEBRUARY 2015 EMPTIES

Hey beauties! Today I'm sharing my empties with you guys :)
It's mostly skin care products that I've finished.

Besides my empties I also have a few products in a Project Pan that I will be sharing with you guys soon.

Empties include:

Olay foaming face wash. Completely finished. Will I repurchase? No it was a normal face wash didn't get that refreshed feeling like my favourite clean and Clear cleansers. Purchased at Pennywise for approximately $26.95 TT

Night of Olay face moisturizer. This one was a firming cream as I mistakenly bought it. As for the firming I don't need it as yet lol but it's the same as the regular night moisturizer and it works wonderfully. You only need a little amount of product and it absorbs into your skin beautifully without that greasy feeling.
Will I repurchase? Yes definitely my absolute favorite night moisturizer. As I went to repurchase they ended up giving me another Olay night moisturizer, I'm not sure if this one is still in Pennywise or it was just out of stock. I will be looking for it but also will soon be doing a review on the new night moisturizer I'm currently using. Purchased at Pennywise for $79.95

Olay oil minimizing toner with witch hazel.  My favorite toner the only one I ever use. Works great! Purchased at Pennywise for $27.95TT

Vaseline lip therapy in cherry. Tried this and loved loved it. Would definitely repurchase BUT mines expired really quickly. I unfortunately didn't check the date before buying so I recommend you so that before otherwise it's amazing so moisturizing without that really greasy feeling. Purchased at Pennywise for $9.95TT

L'Oréal tru match foundation in w7 caramel beige.
At first didn't love this with the powder I bought with it. Afterwards in the later days I started to like it. It's so natural looking I believe the color is a little dark for me. It does get oily in the t-zone so it's not perfect for humid weather. Set with a translucent powder and you should be fine :)
Will be repurchasing to try again and give a full review. This is one of the first foundations I bought so I wanna purchase another and try again. Purchased at Pennywise for $44.95TT

Olay complete day moisturizer SPF 15.
This moisturizer did it's job but I personally don't like that white cast because of the spf. It didn't stand out for me and I want to try new moisturizers so I won't be purchasing again. I'm currently using bb creams which I will review soon. Purchased at Pennywise for $79.95TT

So these are my empties that I had been saving to show you guys! Feel free to let me know your thoughts on these products you've tried or any you recommend :)

ELF ESSENTIAL TOTAL FACE BRUSH

Today's review is on the Elf's essential total face brush. This was I think the first face brush I purchased at Tres Belle Cosmetique here in Trinidad. I think I paid like $15-20 TT for it. You can also purchase it at www.eyeslipsface.com for US $1.

When I first got this brush it worked wonderfully and it was quite affordable. The bristles were soft and gentle on my face but I think it's over a year now I own it and it jas become a disaster.

I do wash my brushes shampoo and condition them n lay them out to air dry. For quick cleaning I use Sacha's Brush Cleaner.

This brush lasted no time for me and it has become so harsh on the  skin, it's so uncomfortable to use on my sensitive skin.

This is my personal experience with this brush, I don't know if anyone else experienced this also.

**Personally, from my experience I definitely do not recommend anyone purchasing this brush. There are much better affordable brushes out there but this one doesn't make the cut.

SACHA'S BRUSH CLEANER

Hey everyone! Happy New Year! Hope you guys had a great one and a fabulous and blessed year ahead! :)  So today my review is on the Sacha's Brush Cleaner that I bought at the Sacha Image Center at Trincity Mall.  I paid $55tt for the brush cleaner. Note that there was a price increase from $40 to $55.  For those of you who would like to purchase online, you can visit www.sachacosmetics.com

PROS:
-It definitely cleanes brushes easily and properly.
-The scent isn't high, it's quite fine.

I use the brush cleaner for a quick cleaning after use because you don't want to leave dirty brushes lying around to collect bacteria.  It's better you sanitize them and lay them out to air dry and place them back where  you store them.

CONS:
-I find it to be kind of expensive for a brush cleaner.

I really really love this brush cleaner BUT because of the price increase I'm unsure if I'll be repurchasing or maybe repurchasing seldomly.

I am currently looking for a cheaper and easy way that will clean my brushes as good as this brush cleaner.

I will love to hear your guys feedback and any advice you guys have on cheaper alternatives!
